Recycle King Australia's website had a homepage headline that said 'Welcome to Recycle King.' It was accurate but told visitors nothing about what the business could do for them. Using the copy frameworks from this module, they tested three alternative headlines focused on the customer's problem: confusion about what can be recycled, wanting to do the right thing, and needing a hassle-free solution.
The Result
The winning headline addressed the visitor's real problem directly. Combined with a clear CTA ('Get a Free Bin Quote'), the homepage went from a digital business card to an active lead generator.
